The second-generation 991 GT3 represents the evolution of the 4.0-litre flat-six platform. Building on the foundations of the 3.8L first-generation, this model is not only incredibly robust but also more technologically advanced. Under the rear decklid is a 4.0L naturally aspirated flat-six, producing 500 hp and 460 Nm of torque. It features a new crank, improved oil system, revised liners and its' dual flap intake system replacing the previous hydraulic system enhances low-to-mid-range power delivery as it revs all the way to 9,000 rpm! The rear-wheel steering system sharpens agility at low speeds and increases stability at high speeds, complemented by revised calibration in both the steering and PDK gearbox. A helper spring in the rear suspension, repositioned and elevated rear wing, and updated aerodynamic features at the front and rear underbody deliver the same downforce as a 997.2 GT3 RS.

The result? An 8-second faster Nürburgring lap time compared to the 991.1 GT3 RS, an impressive achievement that reflects the engineering excellence behind this machine.
